RENOWAVE.AT is a nonprofit innovation lab led by an advisory board of experts. It is organized as a cooperative with 27 members—including universities, research institutions, planning firms, energy agencies, and financing experts. This broad range of expertise fosters strong, interdisciplinary collaboration.
The Innovation Lab brings extensive expertise in the areas of climate-resilient renovation technologies, financing solutions, and governance models.
Key offerings include events, innovation workshops, training sessions, as well as access to databases, experimental facilities, and research infrastructure through the members. In this way, RENOWAVE.AT supports a wide range of innovation areas—from data applications and expert networks to multifunctional building envelopes, renewable energy, user integration, and new business models, as well as regulation, holistic planning, and building culture in the spirit of the New European Bauhaus.
With a strong national network and partnerships with government ministries, energy organizations, and educational institutions, RENOWAVE.AT ensures that project results have a long-term impact and are integrated into the Austrian market as well as into education and training systems.
