Online Workshop: “Heat Pumps in Renovation”
On October 7, 2025, the online event “Heat Pumps in Building Renovation—Planning and Best Practice Examples for the Use of Heat Pumps in Existing Buildings” took place. Together with industry experts, participants had the opportunity to discuss how to successfully implement heat pumps in building retrofits and what annual performance coefficients are realistically achievable in practice.
Exploitation Workshop
As part of the KnowHowHP partner meeting, the exploitation workshop took place on October 15, 2025, in Innsbruck, during which the partners identified key target groups, educational institutions, and specific ways to utilize the future training content. The results form the basis for the exploitation strategy, which will be further developed in the coming months and implemented within the project.
Consortium Meeting in Innsbruck
On October 15 and 16, 2025, the biannual consortium meeting took place at the University of Innsbruck. Representatives from all project partners gathered to discuss the project’s progress to date, further develop work packages, and jointly coordinate the next steps.
Workshop at EUSALP Specialist Conference in Bregenz
At the EUSALP specialist conference in Bregenz on 8 May 2025, a KnowHowHP workshop tied to Work Package 2 was held. With 41 participants (35 external experts), interest in heat pump renovations for multi‑family housing was high.

On 13‑ 14 May 2025, the second KnowHowHP consortium meeting took place at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. Representatives from all project partners gathered to advance key topics, exchange insights, and plan concrete implementation steps for the coming months.
BUILD UP Skills EU Exchange Meeting in Brussels
On 2. and On April 3, 2025, the 16th EU exchange meeting of the BUILD UP Skills Initiative took place in Brussels – a Europe-wide networking meeting for projects related to further training in the building sector. Thomas Roßkopf from the Vorarlberg Energy Institute presented the project as part of an interactive workshop.
